Hammonton First was founded by Democrats, Republicans, and Independents who united under the concept that government should be customer-service based, putting the people first and leaving politics for last.

With this philosophy, Mayor John DiDonato's Administration has completed numerous recreation, road, and construction projects. This Administration lowered Town debt, increased surplus, and never increased your taxes. No other Town in The State of New Jersey was able to deliver that value to its residents.

At the same time, we have made strong efforts to help bring back "Hammonton Pride" and helped to restore faith in public service.

In these tough economic times, running on past achievements is not good enough. We need talented leaders who are ready for the future. While Hammonton's great traditions must be carried forward, Hammonton First will work to keep Hammonton "Moving Forward". The bar has been set high, and in the weeks ahead, you will see that we are prepared, not just for the Hammonton of today, but for the Hammonton of tomorrow.
