Hammonton Vision 2020

Hammonton First has put together a detailed and focused plan for the future.
Our platform is not just for this year or next, but for many years.

Tax Relief Plan:

Hammonton First is fiscally conservative and our approach to Town finances will create huge savings during the next few years as we pay down millions of dollars in debt. This saves on interest payments, which will keep your taxes stable.

Pothole Patch Patrol:

$100,000 in budget savings will be dedicated each year to a new plan that will identify and fix potholes year-round throughout Town. Hammonton First is launching an efficient and cost-effective way to eliminate potholes.

Public Safety Initiative:

Under Hammonton First’s leadership, Hammonton has been designated one of the safest Towns in South Jersey and we will keep it that way. Our initiative will acquire new police vehicles and get more cops patrolling.

Recreation Enhancement Plan:

Recreation has expanded under Hammonton First’s leadership. We will enhance that through grants for new Lake Park playground equipment, connecting Town bike and walking paths, and creating a playground at Boyer Avenue. Keeping Hammonton’s kids safe is a priority.

Town-wide Road Program:

More miles of Town roads have been paved by Hammonton First than any other group in history. To continue the progress, we are proposing a 10-Year Road and Infrastructure Program that will get every road in Town in excellent shape.

Hammonton First is a local organization comprised of Independents, Republicans and Democrats dedicated to improving the community of Hammonton and was formed in 2005.
